We're hiring multiple early career professionals to our North America Premium Accounting Operations organization, as an Operations Specialist. Your focus will have the ability to serve as the primary point of contact for process-related questions, escalations, and complex issues related to revenue and cash management. You will report to the Operations Manager and will work closely with onshore and offshore colleagues, in addition to partnering with the Operations Professional (Supervisor) to support process improvement initiatives. This role has the flexibility to be on-site and/or 100% virtual. We have an excellent training program to provide you with hands-on training and internal resources to give you the ongoing development and tools you need to succeed! Your day-to day Lead workflows in conjunction with the supervisor, reassign duties as appropriate and balance task load between associates on escalated items Identify process, training and/or performance deficiencies and recommend potential resolutions on-shore and off-shore Analyze transactional processing trends and recommend opportunities for improvement Collaborates with department manager and supervisor to resolve escalated issues Process daily cash receipts and/or disbursements, escalating for timely resolution as necessary Work autonomously All other duties as assigned Preferred competency skills that can help lead you to success Core understanding of entry-level accounting; 0-3 years of insurance experience preferred Excellent interpersonal skills - verbal, written and presentation Ability to formulate effective action steps to resolve problems Efficient in Microsoft Office Excel and Word Minimum education High School Diploma or GED Associate of Arts degree (AA) or equivalent from 2-year college or technical school; or two or more years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience The salary range for this position is $45,000 to $52,000 annually. This salary range is an estimate, and the actual salary will vary based on applicant's education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant's geographic location.
