Job Description

Would you like to be part of a team that is helping VISA redefine the future of payment risk solutions? Then this is the role for you. The VISA/Cybersource Product team is looking for a world-class product manager to help scope, define, and launch new solutions that will change payment security, authentication, and fraud around the world.

As a Director you will build out the requirements and supporting business models for risk solutions for customers that, a/ surprise and delight customers, b/ are financially compelling for customers, and c/ are profitable for VISA. Specifically, you will be responsible for understanding the latest trends impacting the payment industry around risk management, and chargeback management developing new business models and product strategies to capitalize on these trends, and working across teams to launch new product.

As a Product Director on the team, you will take on challenging product management opportunities with autonomy and high visibility, and direct your own team and a broader team on prioritization and execution of roadmaps.You will deliver recommendations to senior executives and drive alignment across levels, functions, and organizations.

Successful candidates will have demonstrated strong product leadership skills in fostering cross-team collaboration with business, technical, and design counterparts. You will have successfully demonstrated your proficiency in launching complex products and services that delight customers and drive business success. You must be competent technically with a passion for technology trends. You must be able to thrive and succeed in an entrepreneurial environment and not be hindered by ambiguity. This means you are not only able to develop and drive high-level strategic initiatives, but can also roll up your sleeves and get the job done. You leverage mental models and data-driven decision making, and can effectively communicate verbally, and in writing, with leaders of all levels. You have success in defining 3 to 5-year visions and delivering tactically to achieve the vision.

QualificationsBasic Qualifications

* 10 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or at least 7 years of work experience
with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters/ MBA/JD/MD) or at least 5 years of work experience with a
PhD
* 8+ years of experience in product or program management, business development or technology
* 3+ years of people management experience
* Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
* Experience with end-to-end product delivery
* Experience in presenting and leading meetings with senior executives
* Ability to influence the broader organization both horizontally and vertically across functional areas
* Experience in leading development of GTM plans and working with the Sales and Marketing
organizations
* Experience contributing and influencing engineering discussions around technology decisions and
strategy related to a product
* Experience overseeing roadmap strategy and definition
* Proven analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to use data and metrics to drive r
recommendations and actions
* Experience creating a product strategy and definition
* Experience creating roadmaps and defining requirements for the engineering team to build

Preferred Qualifications

* 12 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or 8-10 years of experience with an
Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 6+ years of work experience with a PhD
* 6+ years of product management experience in the technology space
* Experience in building products that connect customers socially
* Experience in program management, product marketing and business development
* Experience delivering software products and services in a high growth environment
* Strong verbal and written communication skills with demonstrated experience engaging and
influencing senior executives
* Demonstrated ability to understand and discuss technical concepts, manage trade-offs and

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel5-10% of the time.
