Operations Analytics Associate I
Overall Purpose
Responsible for analyzing data and developing reports, visuals and tables for Operations Department key performance indicators and other department metrics.
Responsibilities
- Develop queries and analyze results for key performance indicators to support Operations business subject matter experts with understanding performance and trends
- Collaborate with Operations business subject matter experts to document performance summaries and performance improvement plans for key performance indicators
- Develop queries and reports to build data visualizations, dashboards, and reports.
- Conduct ad hoc quantitative performance-improvement analyses related to the Operations Department.
- Participate in key Operations initiatives by serving as team lead or a team member and providing analytic support to the initiative team.
Additional Responsibilities
- Perform duties as assigned as a member of the storm response support team.
- Other duties as assigned
Education/Experience
- Accredited Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Engineering, Science, or Computer Science
- 2 + years of relevant experience
- Electric utility experience preferred
- Commensurate combinations of education and experience will be considered
Required Skills/Abilities
- Outstanding oral and written communication and presentation skills
- Excellent analytical, project management, problem solving, and financial modeling skills
- Ability to work independently while keeping key constituents and stakeholders informed and appropriately involved
- Must be highly regarded for integrity, flexibility, teamwork, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently and work in a fast-pace and changing environment
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office products & SQL
- Strong understanding of corporate finance concepts - discounted cash flow/valuation methodologies

- Python Coding ability
- Power Apps development
- PowerBI App and Report development
- Oracle database experience
