Overview

The Sr. Webcenter Application Developer will work collaboratively as a member of the team in designing, developing, integrating, and customizing Oracle WebCenter products. He or she will be utilizing various development technologies such as front-end web development technologies (HTML/CSS, JavaScript, etc.) and Java. The Developer will be implementing content-focused solutions, including web content management, document management, and records management for a Fortune 500 Company. He or she will troubleshoot problems and conduct Bug Fixes for successful business operations. The Developer needs to be knowledgeable in writing Java and JavaScript code to enhance the user experience and efficiency of a search results interface.

Responsibilities

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Lead in the design and implementation of projects for Content Management (IPM) and Workflows leveraging Oracle Webcenter Products
  • Provide leadership, technical, and project assistance to less experienced team members.
  • Develop documentation for software and customizations, including user guides, installation guides, requirements analysis, design specifications, and custom training materials
  • Manage and direct the task of junior associates

Qualifications

Education and Experience Requirements:
  • 5 years' experience in Oracle WCC (UCM) 11g/12c
  • 3-5 years of development experience with the following technologies: Java, HTML, JavaScript, SQL, and relational databases
  • Oracle WebCenter products including Content, Sites, Portal, Imaging & Capture, Records, Forms
  • Recognition, Refinery, Desktop Technology and all corresponding components
  • Oracle Imaging and Process Management (IPM)
  • Weblogic server and Enterprise Manager
  • BPM suite, BPEL, and SOA suite
  • Oracle Application Development Framework (Oracle ADF)
  • Oracle Enterprise Manager Fusion Middleware Control
  • JDeveloper
  • Oracle Web Services Manager
  • Experience working with different Operating Systems, including LINUX, UNIX, and Windows, along with OS Admin experience file permissions, directory access, remote access.
  • Self-starter, results-oriented, able to work in a team environment as well as independently.
  • Ability to demonstrate good judgment, tact, and a clear purpose while under pressure in a very dynamic environment.
  • Excellent time management and prioritization skills; ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple projects at once.

Physical Requirements:

This is primarily a sedentary office position which requires the incumbent to have the ability to operate computer equipment, speak, hear, bend, stoop, reach, lift, and move and carry up to 25 lbs. Finger dexterity is necessary.
