Works collaboratively with software management to ensure consistent implementation of the software and architecture throughout the development life cycle. Develops a deep understanding of complex software systems, identifies requirements, design solutions, and integrate these designs in a rapid and agile manner. Identifies, diagnoses, and implements innovative solutions to solve software defects. Works with DoD Customers to identify and implement strong and cohesive software requirements, systems, and test environments.

Required

• ABET accredited BS in Computer Science or related field
• Minimum 4 years of experience in software development
• Knowledge of standard software engineering practices for the full software development cycle (modern source control such as Git, build & packaging, unit/system/integration testing)
• Experience in integrating data sources and understanding data structures and algorithms
• Knowledge of Agile software development tools and processes
• Experience in integrating disparate software systems
• Some travel
• Ability to obtain and maintain security clearance

Desired

• MS in Computer Science or related technical field
• Experience in Containerization and related tools
• Experience in server-side languages such as C, C++, C#, Python, Ruby, Java, PHP and .Net desired
• Experience in Linux/windows shell scripting
• Specific experience in delivering software projects to the US Army/DoD knowledge in Military training and doctrines and experience from military simulation systems
• Applied experience with various AR/VR development, integration, and test applications
• Experience with leading gaming engines and various world terrain formats
• Create innovative customer facing features
• Refactor code as necessary to create scalable development ecosystem
• Improve software development process with tools and best practices
