Position Title: Senior Secondary Market Analyst

Business Unit: Mortgage Administration

Reports to: Manager of Secondary Markets

Position Overview:

This position is primarily responsible for all reporting needed to analyze the secondary market profitability, risk management, pipeline valuation and various other ad-hoc or monthly required reporting. Manage the product and pricing engine, hedging system and loan operating system integration. Also responsible for working with the subject matter expert who translates LOB problems into requirements, process changes, test cases, data mapping, etc.

Primary Responsibilities:

Responsible for routine work, report building, model maintenance and back audits in trade support. Responsible for audit of margin calls, pair-offs and settlement process. Builds ad-hoc analysis, reporting and models as needed. Streamlines and enhances existing reports.

Creates and generates reports for management on production, income and expense activity. Reviews for accuracy and ensure all required corrections are completed and documented in a timely manner. Understands the business problem and able to translate into requirements, process changes, test cases, data mapping, etc.

Conducts periodic assessments of all reporting. Documents gaps and findings and coordinates and tracks corrective action. Ensures all applicable changes are tested, communicated and implemented.

Management of the loan operating system integration, product and pricing engine and hedging system maintenance and upgrades as administrator.

Analyzes and queries financial data out of the hedging software reporting system to produce and validate profit and loss reporting. This data is consolidated and packaged to report daily positions, pipeline trends to meet bank reporting guidelines as well as improve model efficiency and achieve goals.

Partners with line of business Subject Matter Experts for pricing, hedging, loan sale, post-closing and finance to help with various reporting needs, system fixes, process improvements and drive further automation for efficiencies.

Serves as a project manager for Secondary Market, Post Closing and product development, creates workflow documents, leads meetings, documents progress and provides status updates to management.

Performs other related duties and projects as assigned.
