Aon Is Looking for A Health Solutions, Consultant or Analyst, Health & Benefits- Small Market (Pacific Northwest) As part of an industry-leading team, you will help empower results for our clients by delivering innovative and effective solutions as part of our Health and Benefits Consulting business group within Aon in our Pacific Northwest office. This person would support the Aon Local Advantage (ALA) Team throughout the Pacific Northwest (Seattle, Portland and Spokane) market. Candidates will be considered for an Analyst or Consultant level based on their experience. Your Impact as an Health and Benefits Consultant or Analyst - Small Market The Aon Local Advantage (ALA) is Aon's approach to the smaller employer segment. The typical client size is employers with 100 - 500 employees. In this market segment, clients are predominantly fully-insured. However, we also support alternatively funded, and self-funded clients through the ALA team. This position will work closely with the ALA Account Executives and Financial Manager. Job Responsibilities: Primary responsibilities of this position to include: Customer focused with the ability to easily communicate with clients. Work closely with Account Executives to manage accounts and build strong client and carrier relationships. Perform client team project management. Perform vendor management, including carrier follow-up, problem resolution, negotiations Conducts meetings, monitor, and execute deliverables and accountabilities based on project scope and statement of work. Works individually or with other support resources to finalize projects. Articulate findings to clients, and work with them in a consultative manner. Resolves client issues at appropriate levels and informs other team members of pertinent issues. Summary Plan Descriptions and contract compliance. Communicate and support clients for compliance with all ERISA, State and Federal requirements Contract review and benefit comparisons. Takes ownership of work and is accountable for its completion and accuracy; can problem solve and make effective decisions. Prepare open enrollment meeting materials and conduct meetings with employees. Manages client open items list and responds to client requests and ad-hoc reporting requests as needed. Possess a strong understanding of the health and group benefits and participates as needed on task forces and special project teams. You Bring Knowledge and Expertise Required Experience: Minimum 1-3 years of experience in Consulting or US benefit consulting experience strongly preferred. Excellent communications skills (written and verbal). Strong organizational skills. Ability to handle multiple projects at one time. Project management and strong analytical ability. Strong proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint. Working knowledge of benefits and services offered and value to clients. Strong face to face presentation skills. Strong compliance knowledge in the Health and Benefits industry. Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of industry experience.
