Aon is looking for a Time Away and Life Solutions Audit Consultant Aon's audit group was formed about 40 years ago when we originated and implemented the firstever medical plan audits for our clients. We have steadily built our audit expertise since that time and continue our industry leadership role today as we complete hundreds of auditrelated projects each year. These projects include medical, behavioral health, pharmacy, dental, vision, COBRA, FSA, STD, LTD, Life, AD&D, FMLA, and company leave plan audits, as well as implementation audit projects involving those products or benefit programs. Aon's audit group is composed of consultants who conduct audits full time. Our consultants have an average of more than 25 years of healthcare insurance industry experience. As part of an industry-leading team, you will help empower results for our clients by delivering innovative and effective solutions supporting Health. This position can be based out of any of our US based Aon offices. Scope of Responsibilities Manage absence audits projects in leave, disability, life, and other leave of absence product lines; Consultants typically manage smaller projects with supervision by someone senior Obtain understanding of project scope requirements and needs with client and/or internal colleagues Facilitate administrator meeting to review audit scope and schedule audit Ensure claim selection is done per client request and/or plan design Identify claim errors against best practice Draft reports of audit results with analysis of findings Execute client and non-disclosure agreements, as needed Works on issues of moderate scope where analysis of situations or data requires a review of a variety of factors Participate in or lead various internal and external meetings, including audit scope identification, administrator kick-off calls, administrator operational assessments, and client report deliveries Builds productive working relationships with peers and higher level professionals internally and externally to exchange information and make recommendations May provide guidance and training to process-oriented workers Promotes opportunities for cost savings, productivity improvement, and revenue generation Assist with the fee development of services Applies company policies and procedures to resolve a variety of issues Possesses an awareness of larger team/department strategies and customer needs Knowledge Expertise or Competencies Bachelor's degree, or the equivalent, and 3+ years of appropriate leave, disability, and life experience; Licensing as required Strong understanding of absence lines, including but not limited to FML, STD, LTD, Life/AD&D, ADA, and statutory leaves, as well as the assigned client's needs and major lines of business Understands and recommends best practices to meet client needs, knowing the client's business, and works to build client confidence Critical thinking and analytical skills, good communication and listening skills, and well-developed writing and verbal skills are a must Emerging negotiation skills ad ability to innovate new solutions is preferred We offer you A competitive total rewards package, continuing education & training, and tremendous potential with a growing worldwide organization. The salary range for this position is $61,000-80,000 annually. This salary range is an estimate and the actual salary will vary based on applicant's education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant's geographic location. The salary range reflected is an estimate, based on a primary work location of the state of Colorado. The actual salary may vary for applicants in a different geographic location. This position is eligible to participate in one of Aon's annual incentive plans. The amount of the incentive varies and is subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable incentive plan.
