Aon has an exciting Account Specialist opportunity This is a hybrid role working in-office and remote and may be in Lincolnshire or Chicago IL or the Victor NY office locations. The Account Specialist assists Account Executives and Brokers on assigned accounts, handling key processes and undertaking client facing and internal activities as they relate to our commercial risk business. This is achieved through effective communication and partnership with our internal and outsourced Aon Client Services partners. Account Specialist Job Responsibilities include: Maintaining effective and positive relationships with clients. Performing vital activities to support Account Executive/Broker team with initiating, marketing and processing renewals, processing client invoices, requesting auto IDs and assisting with surplus lines processes Will help resolve account discrepancies, initiate endorsement requests and process other client requests and account servicing functions. Drafts quote comparisons and follows up for binders, policies and endorsements at the direction of the Broker or Account Executive Ensures the system of record (Bridge & Broker Desktop) is accurate and current to ensure client needs and outputs will be produced according to guidelines and policy detail. Manages client open items lists and responds to client ad-hoc requests. Where applicable, serves as the primary interface with Aon Client Services (ACS), coordinating activities of the team to ensure key processes assigned are performed effectively. Key client liaison for items such as certificates if insurance, auto ID's, location additions, invoices, Workers Comp posting notices, allocations, premium finance agreements, summaries of insurance and policy transmittals. Skills and experience that will lead to success: Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and written with external and internal clients on client servicing activities Understands operation processes and methodologies; proven ability to work effectively with moderate guidance and supervision. Strong Excel skills to import/export data, strong Word skills, some v-look up experience a plus. Successfully operates in a fast-paced output driven environment that requires staff members to multi-task, react quickly and perform task that are not routine. Preferred Experience: 1-3 years of commercial insurance/office experience a plus, will also consider recent college graduates. Strong verbal and written communication skills Proficiency and experience using Microsoft Office or G Suite products Property and Casualty license preferred, must be acquired with three months of hire P&C licensing and costs associated with the coursework, will be paid by Aon!
