The Manager, Strategic Partnerships is responsible for identifying and sourcing new data opportunities within the automotive sector, as well as maintaining and growing current partnerships. This role assists in setting strategy with designated private sector partners, provides account direction and relationship management, and serves as liaison for escalation issues.

As Manager, Strategic Partnerships you will:

  • Develop and grow relationships with key stakeholders, decision makers and external influencers within assigned account base.
  • Identify and cultivate new business and data opportunities.
  • Conduct effective presentations that communicate relevant CARFAX value props.
  • Build and effectively report on pipeline, account activity and business risks.
  • Function as the key account manager for assigned areas by coordinating all aspects of client interaction across CARFAX internal teams.
  • Coordinate requests and processes, collaborating internally to ensure timely completion and delivery.
  • Manage opportunity lifecycle (implementation, delivery, maintenance, retention)

To be considered for this role, you will need:

  • 3+ years of automotive industry experience desired (not required), with success in business development, sales or account management.
  • Must be a strong collaborator and have demonstrated ability in developing relationships internally.
  • Effective communication and polished presentation skills.
  • Excellent consulting and negotiation abilities.
  • Driven, goal oriented, and results focused mindset; ability to work independently.
  • Must be a strategic thinker and problem solver.
  • Ability to effectively run presentations and meetings virtually.
  • This position can be remote based; however, must be willing and able to travel up to 30% (when regular travel resumes).
