Description Below are just a few of the areas you can explore within the AIML PM team: AIML University Training and education efforts across AIML. Automatic Speech Recognition (ASR) Automatic Speech Recognition (ASR) is a critical component of Siri, Dictation, and other Apple products and features. Our ASR must be accurate for these products to deliver the top-notch user experience that Apple customers expect. Regularly shipping updates to improve accuracy, in the tens of languages we support and across all of our platforms, involves many teams working to create groundbreaking technology in areas such as machine learning/artificial intelligence, large scale systems, spoken language, big data, and more. This entails working with speech recognition software engineers and machine learning scientists as well as engineers bringing up the Siri audio stack on new hardware. Data Privacy This team develops scalable, reliable, and privacy-first enterprise data infrastructure services. Impact hundreds of millions of customers across a plethora of Apple devices. Our ultimate goal: empowering all data users at Apple to measure and improve Apple products powered by Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning (Siri, Search, and more). Machine Learning Apps This team touches Dictation, Systems Captioning, & Translation. Building an accessible and adaptable Siri is just one of the many things this team does. Natural Language Understanding (NLU) Work cross functionally to coordinate NLU model releases and deliver new features and capabilities. Search Apple's search products serve over 1 billion users worldwide and include Spotlight, Safari, Siri and more. Collaborate with other corporate functions and cross-organizational teams to promote technologies and develop roadmaps to deliver the highest quality experiences for our search customers.
