Position Summary

Manage and coordinate commercialization efforts at internal or external manufacturing facilities by developing and leading goals, strategies and work plans that address all manufacturing issues including Quality, Cost, Delivery, Asset Control, Productivity, Cash Flow, Strategic Sourcing, Compliance to Specification and other areas as needed. Maintains critical alignment and linkage to Brand projects and manufacturing strategy initiatives. Aligns with Brand Teams, providing insights and knowledge of industry and capabilities. Drives speed to market via development at Internal/External Manufacturing to minimize commercialization timelines and processes through coordination, strong communication and contingency development.

Responsibilities




  • Lead and execute all product related changes, both in terms of product and packaging in cooperation with Marketing, R&D and Supply Chain Teams.
  • Initiate and manage harmonization of manufacturing process and simplification of product portfolio.
  • Works with multiple manufacturing sites on new product development, product commercialization and process improvements.
  • Lead the PLM monthly process, monitor and report Portfolio KPIs.
  • Promote a positive and collaborative working environment between all departments in Amplify Snack Brands and the co-packers.
  • Support the integration activities of anticipated business acquisitions.
  • All other relevant duties assigned by manager.



Qualifications




  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Business Administration
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience for a manager and 5 years of experience for a Senior Manager in a Food, Pharma, or CPG production facility/environment
  • Exposure and understanding of multiple Supply Chain business disciplines. (Procurement, Manufacturing, Logistics, Planning, R&D, etc...)
  • Exposure to new product commercialization and start up procedures
  • Strong problem-solving aptitude and project management experience
  • Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • Influence management skills with the ability to manage cross functional resources with out direct reporting relationships
  • Ability to negotiate and communicate effectively with different levels inside and outside the organization
  • Excellent leadership capabilities with strong influencing skills
  • Collaborative work style to work closely with Sales, Marketing, Operations, and co-manufacturers
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving, and collaborative entrepreneurial environment
  • Prior experience with Lean Manufacturing a plus
  • Must have the ability to travel approximately 20-30%
