You will work closely with many teams throughout Apple, from our client and server teams to the security and privacy teams and, of course, numerous internal adopters of CloudKit.
Key Qualifications
  • 6+ years of experience as a software engineer working on Apple platforms or managing software engineering teams
  • Experience with unit testing

Description
We are the Apple Cloud Services organization. We build the APIs and SDKs in front of Apple's cloud, allowing the smooth and private synchronization of petabytes of data on all Apple devices. As we grow our teams, we are looking to bring in an engineering manager to lead the team that focuses on Sharing and Encryption technologies within the CloudKit team. We focus on the privacy and security of users' data while building simple yet powerful developer experiences. This position will involve close collaboration with many teams throughout Apple. You will need to lead a strong team of engineers and help architect, design, and implement core parts of CloudKit, including public APIs, internal frameworks, and daemons. You will need a strong understanding of what makes a great API, in general, but also a keen interest in security and privacy.
Education & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
