KPMG is currently seeking a Manager in Customer & Operations for our practice.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage large-scale banking and corporate business transformation initiatives and focus on delivering strategic, operational, technical, and/or product development change such as technology integrations and deployments, mergers and acquisitions, business process improvements, and new product development or business architecture
  • Perform business and systems analysis activities throughout the project lifecycle including current and target state assessment, scope definition, business case development, program organizational design, requirements gathering, functional and technical design, vendor assessment, test script development, training strategy and implementation, and general implementation assistance
  • Manage the engagement lifecycle including project planning, developing and presenting deliverables, facilitating client workshops, and providing oversight and leadership to KPMG team members regarding deliverables and performance management
  • Provide a solid understanding of legacy and emerging payment areas (including real-time payments, payments hubs, ISO 20022 standards, and open banking) and evaluating the impacts of payments and payment related technology trends on corporate, retail and/or commercial banking areas, including treasury services, cash management, operations, merchant and card processing, business-to-business financial supply chain and fraud management
  • Develop relationships with client personnel and assist in the identification of new business opportunities, build business relationships with key executives, and develop and present proposals

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of five years of consulting experience at a recognized consulting firm and/or minimum of five years of experience in commercial banking, treasury services, cash management, and/or retail banking with experience in front and back office operations, card and merchant services (including digital wallets), and exposure to business-to-business financial supply chain is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in an appropriate field from an accredited college/university; MBA or graduate degree
  • Strong diversified background in financial services, including knowledge of banking products and services, sales, technology, operations, fraud, and financial crimes
  • Previous experience managing end-to-end business and/or technology architecture for payments-related client implementations and working knowledge of payment types such as check, ACH, wire, and card
  • Project management experience and the ability to manage a multi-disciplinary team
  • Ability to develop and sustain meaningful client relationships
  • Travel as needed
