70% Lab Experiments

  • Engineer and Phenotype Cells

20% Data Compilation and Analysis

  • Analyze, compile and summarize experiment data for review and presentation

10% Routine Lab Maintenance

  • Materials acquisition and laboratory organization
Qualifications

All required qualifications must be documented on application materials

Required Qualifications:

  • BA/BS in biological sciences field plus at least 1 year of experience or a combination of related education and work experience to equal five years.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience with animal handling in a research laboratory
  • Prior experience using qPCR
  • Prior experience with molecular cloning techniques
  • Prior experience with primary cell culture
  • Experience conducting experiments according to written protocols
  • Experience troubleshooting and resolving technical problems that may arise with experiments
  • Prior experience maintaining accurate documentation of procedures and experimental data from projects in a logical and organized manner
  • Prior experience with Flow Cytometry
  • Prior experience with Genome Engineering
