KPMG is currently seeking a Manager, Digital Visual Design to join our Marketing organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Support in leading cross channel creative solutions for marketing programs from concept to final visual design stages of execution; manage a portfolio of assigned projects and ensure optimal user experience as well as adherence to and an advocate for new branding guidelines
  • Provide cross channel art direction and be a hands-on creator of engaging assets that encompass proper layout, formatting, and element relationships to support user needs; ensure design solutions enable our marketing strategy and storytelling, fulfilling upon our mission for users to navigate through an established digital journey; identify optimal imagery to support experiences; present and defend creative solutions to executive stakeholders, leadership, and peers and collect inputs, see through to completion, and manage expectations; offer high quality UX by knowing how best to combine narrative and messaging with visuals
  • Interpret Information, Creative, and Channel Activation Briefs, documentation, and all inputs from Stakeholders to understand the purpose and goals of digital experiences; work closely with Project Managers to ensure current prioritization of all projects and manage inputs into Aprimo/Orchestrate workflow tool; provide effective art direction to offshore Designers and Developers and onshore creative teams
  • Manage projects and offer direction to internal teams and agencies while actively participating in whiteboarding sessions; listen to and evaluate stakeholder feedback to propose updated solutions; communicate persuasively to inspire team members and stakeholders to help exceed expectations
  • Work with Project Managers and with internal and external resources to ensure deadlines are met and liaise with appropriate team members should blockers or issues arise
  • Maintain a current understanding of design tools and techniques, innovations, and best practices; stay informed of digital media, technology, design, as well as web, business and marketing trends; provide insight, expertise and share experience as needed

Qualifications:

  • Minimum eight years of combined experience in digital visual design, digital art direction, creative design, large
    scale web site design, digital campaigns or similar marketing design experience
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college or applicable work experience preferred
  • Strong visual storyteller with an understanding of cross channel marketing including but not limited to web, social, video, audio, paid media, and sales collateral; experience in taking an active role in brainstorm and ideation sessions, offering ideas that solve the business need
  • Understanding of design principles, imagery, color theory, proper layout, typography and copy; ability to demonstrate and share an updated and strong portfolio of relevant work including stages of the design evolution process
  • Proficiency in Adobe Cloud / Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) / Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), and Figma; Ceros experience is preferred
  • Able to manage a portfolio of projects and work collaboratively with marketing stakeholders, designers, writers, and cross-functional teams to drive flawless execution; ability to review or co-write creative briefs when needed, ask the right questions, and engage in production to produce the best creative output that is on brand and on strategy
