KPMG is currently seeking a Cloud Solutions Architect to join our Digital Nexus organization. This is a remote work opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Partner with Architecture teams to develop solution designs and review alternative solutions for best fit
• Lead and/or contribute to secure cloud infrastructure solutions as a domain architect
• Ensure solution designs are aligned to cloud industry & IT security best practices
• Maintain deep technical knowledge of cloud service providers
• Manage competing priorities in a large enterprise, thrive in a complex environment and adapt to a continually changing environment
• Prepare and maintain technical design documentation, diagrams and task-level project plans

Qualifications:

• Minimum five years of recent experience in architecting and delivering cloud enterprise solutions across multiple enterprise architecture domains (technology, application, information and infrastructure)
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university, or equivalent work experience
• Experience transforming high level design to an operational platform/solution (A to Z delivery) with hands-on experience drawing detailed technical diagrams and authoring technical documentation and designing secure, highly available cloud platform/infrastructure solutions at enterprise scale
• Ability to create solution proposals, provision and support a full stack cloud environment
• Deep technical knowledge of cloud solution architecture in one or more cloud service providers such as Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services and Google Cloud Platform
• Strong verbal/written communication skills, with ability to effectively interact with individuals at all levels of responsibility and authority; must be able to prioritize, delegate and foster the development of high-performance teams to lead/support an environment driven by customer service and teamwork; strong trouble-shooting and organizational skills and ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously; ability to participate in resource planning processes based on defined organizational plans
