The Senior Manager, Digital Content Project Management is responsible for the planning and delivery of key New Product Introductions, Campaigns, Promotions and Capital Initiatives for the Apple Online Store platforms. Reporting into the Director of Digital Content Management (DCM), this is a senior level position, leading multiple teams and disciplines. This role leads the project management teams for all updates to the Apple online store as well as the localization project managers supporting our store in 38+ countries worldwide and 27 languages. This role partners with senior leaders from Marcom, Engineering, Commercial Marketing, Product Marketing and other teams at Apple to ensure timely, relevant and accurate production of online content. We are looking for a detail oriented leader who can easily flex from macro to micro, and thrives in a fast paced environment with complexity and ambiguity.
Key Qualifications
  • 10-15 years experience leading multi-team organizations, producing online experiences at scale.
  • Experience leading teams of project and program managers, and their leaders.
  • Strong skills in leading up, down, sideways.
  • Excellent communication skills, including breaking sophisticated technical problems down into understandable concepts.
  • Shown experience delivering project status updates to executive audiences.
  • Robust negotiation skills.
  • Energetic and enthusiastic approach to leading teams through high pressure moments.
  • Solid understanding of translation, localization and globalization for online operations.
Description
Serving as a senior leader for the Digital Content Management organization in cross functional forums, with both technical and non-technical audiences. Acting as the main point of contact in DCM for Apple Marcom teams. Driving reporting and analytics of project status, successes and challenges. Producing strategic plans for future organizational growth and development. Supporting and developing leaders within the DCM organization. Educating key partner teams (Marcom, Product Marketing, Engineering, Merchandising, Operations, Readiness) on the needs/processes of the DCM organization. Collaborating in close partnership with other members of the DCM leadership team (Production, Development, Technical Solutions, Design). Working with senior cross functional management leaders on project and deliverable prioritization. Creating fast response updates to executive leadership for escalations and root cause analysis for issues. Leading project management functions, championing best practices and driving process improvements. Representing DCM in cross-Apple localization forums.
Education & Experience
Master's degree in business, project management, or equivalent experience. Previous senior leadership experience with website and/or e-commerce project management preferred. MBA a plus.
