Role specific Responsibilities
- Handle all field inventory (equipment, vehicles) and document the same to have a central database for each region
- Ensure relevant equipment have been shipped between countries on time before the market start dates
- Ensure proper storage facilities are there for relevant markets to store the spare equipment in stock safely as per program requirements
- Ensure devices are bar coded and stored in the inventory platform
- Record device lost information along with relevant reports
- Recycle devices once a year as per client policies and update inventory database accordingly
- Report pilferage % on a monthly basis to all clientcustomers
- Make recommendations for vehicle maintenance and repair on a timely manner
- Coordinate field repair schedules and inform relevant parties accordingly
- Enable Global inventory reporting framework and report to all customers on a monthly basis
Qualifications and Experience
- 2 to 4 years of specific experience in inventory management (preferable)
- Working experience in Excel (in a manual environment)
- Good knowledge in handling various types of mobile phones and other tech devices (Tablets, laptops etc..)
- Experience in working with ticket management platforms (Raise, review, approve, follow-up, close, report)
- Experience in collaborating with teams across geographies and functions
- Other Responsibilities:
- Ensure all SLAs are met
- Share feedback to pod leads and team leads
- Provide detailed root cause analysis
- Prepare reports and presentations for internal and client meetings / reviews
- Drive initiatives across the team towards process improvement, product enhancement, people management, etc.
- Liaise with the training team to ensure training needs are met for the team
- Liaise with the recruitment team for staffing requirements
- Ensure attrition is controlled within the desired limits as set internally
- Prepare / assist in preparation of risk mitigation plans
- Periodic personnel planning
- Effectively applying the resources basis requirement
Skills and Qualification:
- Graduate in any stream
- Led a team of at least 50 in the past
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to lead multiple and diverse customers
- Ability to effectively operate with high energy and flexibility in a fast-paced, constantly evolving team environment, and ability to navigate through ambiguity
- Experience with BPO services
- Experience in Map Ops domain
- Proactively provide feedback/findings to the Project manager and Google
- Attention to detail -- ability to work with spreadsheets and do basic analysis
- Process-oriented -- able to clearly document processes
