Overall Purpose:

Electrical Engineering interns are sought for full-time (40 hours/week) positionsfor the Summer 2022Internshipprogram. We are filling multiple positions, and the successful candidates willbe considered for several areas of Operations to include:




  • System Planning and Protection
  • Engineering
  • Distribution Planning
  • Asset Management
  • Operations Center
  • Underground
  • Telecom/Substations



Education/Experience:

Applicants must be currently enrolled in anABET-Accredted BS or MS program inElectrical Engineering. Candidates must have completed their sophomore year of studies.

Skills/Abilities:

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office products. Ability to work independently as well as in a team-oriented environment.

Physical Requirements:

Work will be conducted in a hybrid environment with some time working remotely, and some time required to be in-office/on-site. Candidates must be within close proximity to Pittsburgh. Ability to participate in field visits to work in locations mayinclude, but not limited to, climbing ladders, walking in wooded areas, or visiting field locations.

Other:

Applicants must be able to successfully complete a pre-employment background check, drug screen, and social media screen.
