Job Description Summary

This position will report to the V&A US Service Delivery Lead. It will be responsible for managing the appraisal process, business development (both internal and external), retention and recruiting of top talent, and overall growth of a particular market. The role will lead the V&A appraisers and support staff and have P&L responsibilities.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Responsible for the following:

  • Manages all offices and staff within a particular market
  • Ensures appropriate resources and skillsets are in place within the market
  • Ensure their respective market delivers consistent, high-quality services
  • Identification and delivery of best practices to continually enhance efficiencies and quality
  • Responsible for the financial management of the assigned market, including revenue and expense budgeting and oversight
  • Keeping abreast of the latest trends and developments in the larger CRE market and valuation practices, principles and regulations.
  • Liaise with regional presidents and local MPs to support and cross-sell V&A services

JOB REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field
  • MAI Designation strongly preferred

Previous Experience:

  • 7+ years of experience in a large organization with expertise in valuation
  • 7+ years of management experience
  • 7+ years of experience across real estate platforms and in delivering integrated client services
  • Process success in strategy implementation
  • Effective operations and financial planning skills
  • Financial management expertise within a valuation operation

  • Knowledge of the local markets and clients
