Senior Associate, Events & Meetings

KPMG is currently seeking a Senior Associate to join our Events & Meetings team.

Responsibilities:

* Plan and
execute events including but not limited to project timeline management,
contract negotiations, budgeting and approvals, theme development, logistical
management and on-site execution

* Develop
professional relationships with key stakeholders

* Assist with
managing projects and provide solution-oriented recommendations within
established timelines

* Plan and
execute portfolio of events, consistently meeting and exceeding event
objectives

* Familiarity
with special event venues and restaurants in the Silicon Valley market

Qualifications:

* Minimum
three years of recent experience in events and meeting planning, preferably
within a professional services firm

* Bachelor's
degree from an accredited college/university or equivalent work experience

* Strong
communication, problem solving and sound judgement skills to support an
environment driven by stakeholder focus and teamwork

* Ability to
work on multiple projects simultaneously

* Proficient
in using Microsoft Office Suite applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint
and Outlook; CMP or CMM certification preferred

* Travel to Silicon Valley office
required on an as needed basis but flexible to work in other Silicon Valley KPMG locations when
not in the Silicon Valley
