HX5 is currently seeking a AWS Functional System Administrator to join our growing IT team at Eglin AFB, Florida. Day to Day Duties (may include but not limited to):
- Capable of solving major problems in a narrow specialty field, or over a broad scope of specialties.
- Exercise a high degree of originality and sound judgment in formulating, evaluating, and correlating broad management or engineering/scientific concepts as applicable, guiding the analysis of unique problems and developing new and improved techniques and methods.
- Comfortable working on high-visibility or mission critical aspects of a given program and performs all functional duties independently.
- Perform work involving the exploration of subject area, definition of scope, and selection of system anomalies requiring further investigation.
- Apply intensive knowledge to problems and makes independent decisions.
- Experienced with the Microsoft Windows 10 operating system, Windows Server 2012 R2, 2016, and 2019 operating system, Windows applications, as well as network peripherals such as printers and scanners.
- Knowledge of a wide range of telecommunications theories, concepts, principles, practices, procedures, DoD policies, standards, and operational requirements.
- Provide support and assistance in the development and management of acquisition program related network systems;
- Adhere to all applicable documentation requirements to perform certification of unclassified, classified and/or SAP network systems as applicable;
- Provide continuous client support and integration of the IM support staff throughout customer organizations;
- Assist with development, coordination, and implementation of short and long-term strategies, which plan for the reliable and secure operation, evolution, and growth of the automation hardware and software infrastructure as well as the life-cycle management of all system resources;
- Meet and work with other Government, military, and civilian agencies (including other Government Contractors) for project planning and facilitation of IM requirements. The Contractor shall not represent the Government at such meetings;
- Assist with the maintenance of functional and reliable telecommunication services for customer programs. Telecommunications support shall encompass phone (including classified Secure Telephone Unit/Secure Telephone Equipment/Voice over IP (STU III/STE/vIPer/SVOIP) phones), fax, voicemail, viewmail/viewfax, VTC and desktop VTC, and overhead projection services.
- The Contractor shall also assist by researching, testing, evaluating, and implementing, as required, new technology to fulfill the current and future needs and expectations of the programs supported.

- AWS/Cloud computing experience
Education and Experience Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant degree field, fifteen (15) years of professional experience and IAT Level II certification (ex. Sec+, CySA+) or;
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant degree field, thirteen (13) years of professional experience and IAT Level III certification (ex. CASP+, CISSP) or;
- Master's degree in a relevant degree field, thirteen (13) years of professional experience and IAT Level II certification (ex. Sec+, CySA+) or;
- Master's degree in a relevant degree field, eleven (11) years of professional experience and IAT Level III certification (ex. CASP+, CISSP)
Must be a US Citizen and successfully complete a U.S. government background investigation. Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret clearance prior to date of hire, with an investigation date within the past six (6) years.
