Application Developer The Opportunity: Are you looking for an opportunity to make a difference in healthcare? That's why we need you, a DevOps engineer, to help us shorten the time it takes to get critical tools developed and into the hands of end users who need them to serve the healthcare needs of our nation's Veterans. The mission doesn't stop there though. We also need to monitor and measure application performance to ensure the Veterans can access the information and applications they always need. As a DevOps engineer on our team, you'll help streamline our software development life cycle from requirements to monitoring in production. You'll incorporate open-source tools, automation, and cloud resources to cut down on tedious, boring tasks and free up the team's developers to do what they do best - innovate. You'll work with the team to implement continuous integration and delivery to limit manual testing and troubleshooting. This is an opportunity to build your experience in DevOps while developing software that will improve veteran's access to healthcare. Salary for this position is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, location, the candidate's particular combination of knowledge, skills, competencies and experience, as well as contract specific affordability and organizational requirements. The proposed salary range for this position is outlined below.
