Job Description Summary
The GPS and Vehicle Dynamics Laboratory has multiple immediate openings for post-doctoral research associates. Requirements: The candidate must have a PhD degree in mechanical engineering or electrical engineering (or related disciplines) at the time of employment. The ideal candidate should bring expertise in areas of research that complement ongoing efforts in the lab, including sensor fusion, signal processing, and autonomous vehicle dynamics and
controls.

The successful candidate should have:
- A strong publication record
- Experience in digital signal processing, estimation theory, navigation
- Knowledge and expertise in dynamics and controls, including hardware implementation
- Good knowledge of experimental design and statistics
- Strong programming skills (C++ and ROS experience are desired)
- A willingness to work in multi-disciplinary teams
- Good communication skills

The initial appointment is anticipated to be for 1 year, with additional year extension(s) possible
following annual review and reappointment procedures.

Candidates must be eligible to receive a U.S. Secret Clearance.
