Senior Associate, Cloud Operations - Remote

KPMG is currently seeking a Senior Associate, Cloud Operations to join our Digital Nexus Technology organization. This is a remote opportunity.

Responsibilities:

  • Establish multi cloud service support process and practice, including review and analysis of current cloud operational support processes and mapping to a future state for cloud systems support operating model; implement cloud systems support process and procedures in a multi-cloud environment
  • Recognize and understand cloud support relative to each cloud vendor platform type; plan and define short-term and long-term resources required for an effective ramp up of cloud systems support model that can be operationalized with an initial small team and scale up based on demand
  • Work effectively with stakeholders and senior leadership to manage to acceptable outcomes in line with IT cloud SOP process and procedures; record new SOP support procedures and collaborate with various teams for support, alignment, and adoption in both onshore and offshore support model
  • Manage and triage in matrixed organization with onshore and offshore technical teams; lead and influence cross functional teams by setting common goals and objectives
  • Develop, identify, and document operational processes and procedures; assist with runbook implementations where there are gaps
  • Establish operational support costing of cloud support definition and mapping of workflow deliverables as part of cloud services system support lifecycle mapping

Qualifications:

  • Minimum two years of recent experience defining and implementing operational support agreements with tier structures such as silver, bronze, gold service support levels; preferably having worked with client and customer support in end-to-end delivery
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent work experience
  • Experience in enterprise operations and infrastructure support management including level on to three tier support; experience with crafting OLA and SLA's agreements is a major plus; experience working in Public Clouds such as Azure, AWS
  • Ability to conceptualize and operationalize from an IT factory business model; requiring service mapping to define and operationalize end-to-end vision and understand how logical workflow design will translate into one or more service deliverable work streams; must be able to abstract general principles from specifics and establish standards of best practice for delivering cloud-based services support as a service provider
  • Strong verbal/written communication skills, with capability to effectively interact with individuals at all levels of responsibility and authority; capacity to prioritize, delegate and foster the development of high-performance teams to lead/support an environment driven by customer service and teamwork
  • Excellent trouble-shooting and organizational skills; capable of working on multiple projects simultaneously; able to participate in resource planning processes based on defined organizational plans
