MUST BE AVAILABLE TO MUST BE AVAILABLE TO WORK FRIDAY AND SATURDAY NIGHTS, AS WELL AS HOLIDAYS AND SPECIAL EVENTS WITH SHIFTS STARTING AT 4PM AND COULD END AS LATE AS 2AM.

This is a part time position.

This position pays $21.63 per hour.

MUST HAVE A VALID GUARD CARD AND PROPRIETARY PRIVATE SECURITY OFFICER (PPSO) CERTIFICATION*.
*If hired, training will be provided if you do not have a valid certificate.

Overview:

Tasked with ensuring guests an experience of Brilliance by maintaining high standards of service and customer care, observing and reporting, deescalate situations and enforcing the policies of the hotel, CA regulations and brand standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Provides basic customer service and courtesies to enhance the guests' stay.
  • Smile and greet every guest (15/5 rule).
  • Thank the guest for their business when appropriate.
  • Practice proactive hospitality by anticipating their needs and being flexible in responding to them.
  • Be knowledgeable about the hotel.
  • Utilize the L.E.A.R.N. model to own & resolve complaints.
  • Report defects in the hotel including shortages of equipment & supplies.
  • Assists with maintaining cleanliness standards.
  • Assists with guest problems and complaints.
  • Warns violators of rule infractions, such as loitering, smoking, or carrying forbidden articles and apprehends or expels person engaging in suspicious or criminal acts.
  • Assists Lounge staff with controlling intoxicated guests.
  • Performs other duties as developed, directed or assigned.
