The Position

The primary role of the Senior Field Market Manager is to build and lead a team of local managers that evaluate new markets, develop a GTM strategy, and then execute on this strategy. This strategy will include all market evaluation data and inputs including market opportunity based on the build plan, key points of local contact, events planning and prioritization, channel tactics desired and its subsequent plan of action. The execution of this strategy will require the coordination of partners, channel leaders, and marketing/media teams in order to drive all presell activities of each market. The outcome of this strategy will help marketing & sales teams meet or exceed demand generation targets by executing market-centric demand programs that complement marketing campaigns, local events and always-on demand programs.

Duties & Responsibilities:



  • Develop playbooks that detail the ownership, timelines, success metrics and execution hand-offs that maximize sales and penetration in both new build and existing assets in targeted geographies.
  • Develop sales programs and partnerships with local HOAs, leasing agents and developers.
  • Work in partnership with all consumer sales channels, including contact center, field sales and digital team to develop and implement local tactics, as well as provide feedback on comprehensive sales programs.
  • Manage field marketing program budget.
  • Participate in sales organization projects and initiatives to provide marketing support and resources.
  • Organize and execute local events with local teams
  • Interact with local leaders and represent the company as a "brand ambassador" across the community.
  • The Field Market Manager is responsible for planning, organizing and executing the GTM demand programs that generate new prospects in advance of market build beginning.
  • These GTM plans and programs will also include efforts, tactics and events within the pre dig, the dig, and post dig time periods.
  • The primary purpose and outcome of all these efforts will be to drive local market awareness, interest and leads lists for our sales channels.
  • Work closely with sales to prioritize and execute highly targeted virtual and in-person events with prospects and customers to help accelerate pipeline. Ensure there is a cohesive pre-event, at-event and post event strategy to increase engagement and response rates
  • Interface with sales to determine sales enablement needs, and work with product marketing to develop tools, programs in a box, training and content
  • Must have ability to quickly build a strong understanding of Lumos's go-to-market strategy, the Lumos sales process, and the process buyers will go through in selecting and buying our service.
  • Proactively engage with the sales teams to coordinate, communicate, and optimize the impact of marketing activities
  • Must have the ability to build relationships over the phone and influence and direct a team of employee owners
  • Strong project and time management skills required to efficiently move between work places and multiple, concurrent projects
  • Administrative and Special Projects:


    • Advanced understanding of telecommunications industry and indirect sales model
    • Familiarity with basic sales model concepts (e.g., new market build plans, compensation plans, sales segmentation)



Qualifications

Education:



  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field or applicable years of experience. While possessing the stated degree is preferred, Lumos also may consider applicants who hold some combination of coursework and experience, or who have extensive related professional experience.

  • Experience forecasting, tracking and reporting sales and expense budgets.
