Apple's Special Project Group is seeking a Senior 3D Pipeline Engineer to help advance innovative simulation for autonomous technologies. You will directly play a role developing and maintaining tooling for our 3D content creation pipeline core to our simulation efforts. Your work will advance our ability to develop, test, and verify mobile autonomous systems.
Key Qualifications
  • Strong experience with C++ and Python, software fundamentals and experience debugging complex software
  • 5+ years of experience working with 3D data in real time, animation, or visual effects film pipelines
  • Bonus points for familiarity with computer graphics systems and game engines (e.g. Unreal, Unity, etc); 3D design tools (Blender, Maya)
  • Proficient in software development practices including design, estimation, code reviews, and automated testing.
  • Excellent multi-functional collaboration skills: demonstrated ability to work across an organization with algorithm designs, verification engineers, and other technical departments.

Education & Experience
Bachelor's Degree and minimum of 5 years of relevant industry experience.

  • At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $130,000 and $242,000, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
