$1,167 per 1 credit with upward adjustment for years of service at Marist College. Pay may vary depending on credits pertaining to online, graduate, music, or lab courses.



Job Summary:



The Department of Political Science is looking for qualified part-time faculty to teach courses for the upcoming 2023-2024 academic year. The Political Science Department has ongoing teaching needs in the following courses: International Relations, Introduction to Comparative Politics, and regional courses in Africa, Asia, Latin America, and the Middle East.



Minimum Qualifications:



Master's degree in Political Science or a closely related field, Doctorate or ABD preferred. Previous successful collegiate level teaching experience.



Essential Functions:



Successful candidates may teach three to nine semester credit hours and assist students as needed. Teaching may occur during both the Fall and Spring semesters.
