Sr Financial Analyst

We are seeking a driven and analytical Senior Financial Analyst to join our Global FP&A team. In this role, you will partner with business and finance stakeholders across the organization to develop and maintain financial models and forecasts, analyze financial data to identify trends, risks and opportunities, and create presentations and reports to communicate financial information to senior management. You will play a key role in supporting the development and execution of the annual budget, quarterly forecast, and strategic planning process. In addition, you will assist with the development of deliverables related to equity awards, royalty income and other HQ activities. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Partner with business FP&A teams to develop and maintain financial models/templates and forecasts, including revenue, expense and profitability to support budget/forecast processes as well as actual results reporting.
  • Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks and opportunities and translate insights into actionable recommendations.
  • Prepare variance analyses to explain differences between actual and budgeted results and investigate and resolve discrepancies.
  • Support the development and execution of the annual budget and strategic planning process, including gathering input from stakeholders, identifying assumptions, and consolidating financial plans.
  • Create clear and concise presentations and reports to communicate complex financial information to senior management and other stakeholders.
  • Assist with the preparation of monthly and quarterly Revenue deliverables (key products, species, market, and therapeutic area)
  • Assist with other HQ planning activities (equity awards, royalty income, etc.).
  • Participate in key Finance meetings related to the earnings process.
  • Identify opportunities to automate manual financial processes and develop solutions using tools and technologies such as RPA or scripting languages.
  • Analyze financial data to identify areas for process improvement and implement changes to streamline workflows and increase efficiency.
  • Stay up-to-date on emerging financial technologies and evaluate their potential to improve FP&A processes and reporting.
  • Develop and maintain financial dashboards and reports using data visualization tools.
  • Prepare ad-hoc analysis as needed
Requirements:
  • Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Finance or a related field preferred.
  • 2-4 years of experience in financial analysis or a related role.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex financial information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling tools.
  • Experience with budgeting and forecasting methodologies.
  • Working knowledge of automation tools and technologies (e.g. RPA, scripting languages) strongly preferred.
  • Experience with process improvement methodologies
  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau, Power BI)
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong time management skills and the ability to function effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks effectively
  • Experience in SAP, HFM and Essbase a plus
  • Minimal travel expected
