Position Summary:
The Computer Science Department at the New Jersey Institute of
Technology (NJIT) invites applications for tenure-track faculty positions
starting in Fall 2024, as follows:
- Tenure-track positions in cybersecurity.
- Tenure-track position in all areas of computer science.
- We seek to hire at the rank of Assistant Professor, but
exceptional candidates at higher ranks will also be considered. Candidates with
doctorates from top worldwide institutions are especially welcome to apply.

Essential Functions:
- Computer Science faculty are expected to contribute to
department's undergraduate and graduate instructional programs, pursue external
funding, and publish in top conferences and journals.
- NJIT has recently expanded its graduate programs to a satellite
location in Jersey City, just across the Hudson River from the financial
district of Lower Manhattan in New York City, where it serves the vast pool of
working professionals in the region. The faculty may be called upon to teach at
this location as needed.

Prerequisite Qualifications:
- Applicants must have a Ph.D. degree by Summer 2024 in a relevant
discipline, and outstanding academic credentials that demonstrate their ability
to conduct independent world-class research and attract external funding.
- At the university's discretion, the education and experience
prerequisites may be exempted where the candidate can demonstrate to the
satisfaction of the university, an equivalent combination of education and
experience specifically preparing the candidate for success in the position.
