Peter Pan Bus Lines is seeking a motivated individual committed to safety to join our team as a motorcoach mechanic. Preferred candidates should have prior experience in diesel or fleet repair. **$3,000 SIGN-ON BONUS!** **Job Duties and Responsibilities:** - Familiarity with industry-standard tools and procedures for essential diagnostics and repair. - Perform preventative maintenance and repair based on standardized procedures. - Inspect equipment for defects, damage, and potential component failure areas. - Follow protocol and create action plans to complete assigned tasks. - Adhere to safety guidelines in compliance with OSHA, FMCSA, state and federal DOT standards. - Log and input all work, inspections, and other maintenance data. - Assist coworkers as necessary. - Maintain a safe, organized workspace. **Employee Requirements:** - High school diploma or GED equivalent. - Background in automotive/truck & bus industry maintenance. - Experience with industry-standard tools and equipment. - ASE certification, class B CDL, EPA 608 certification desired. - Basic computer skills. - Clear communication skills. - Desire to learn and adapt to new situations as needed. - Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. | |
