Function: Procurement Job Summary:The Material Control Supervisor is responsible for the management and safety of the spare parts warehouse and personnel; managing inventory operations including stocking levels, critical capital spares, Ammonia and Nitric Acid Catalyst and staged material, providing security controls of all materials whether held in inventory or staged for future use in the facility. The incumbent will lead the facilities Material Control staff in support of the company's strategic direction and assist with building an organization that will expertly execute procurement and material control processes. The role will integrate with other relevant business functions; promote strategic and operational functions of the company-wide volume aggregation and standardization; and assist with the development of cost-saving synergies across all functions. Internal Controls: Establishes and implements processes and procedures to meet departmental internal controls requirements. Ensures that established processes/procedures are followed as designed. Works with Internal Controls Department to identify deficiencies in existing processes/procedures, the need for new ones, and the extent to which such processes/procedures are being followed. Develops and implements corrective actions with regard to department internal controls as necessary. Successful incumbents will have:
Position Scope/Contribution: The inventory is an integral part of the day-to-day support of the continuous operation of the operating facilities. Inventory contains individual SKU's, repairable spares, and capital spares and the warehouse function has overall responsibility for the storage, issue, receipt of all material including non-inventory material and the proper custody and control of all material that flows through the warehouse.
