The role:

The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for overall effectiveness and planning and execution of daily activities in assigned warehouse departments. Becoming the expert in all department processes and system transactions (SAP super user), supervise crew comprised of Kao employees and contractors for company and safety policies to ensure compliance, support continuous improvement projects, and support the inventory group to maintain high inventory control accuracy. This is 2nd shift position with 2:30pm start time.

What you will do:



  • Responsible for overall effectiveness of planning and execution of daily activities in assigned warehouse departments.
  • Manages direct reports and temps.
  • Supervise crew for company and safety policies and apply accountability.
  • Motivate crew to be highly productive.
  • Identify areas of improvement and help implement improvements (continuous improvement).
  • SAP super user for all assigned warehouse departments.
  • Support the inventory control team to maintain clean and accurate inventory of goods .
  • Support with maintaining all current Standard Operating Procedures and create new ones as needed for all assigned warehouse departments.
  • Other tasks as needed.



What you will need:



  • 4+ years distribution and warehousing operations.
  • 3+ Management/Leadership skills.
  • High School degree. College preferred, but not mandatory.
  • Proficient in warehousing systems, preferably in SAP WM.
  • Proven work experience as a supervisor with emphasis on personnel management.
  • Must have a good understanding of all physical elements of the supply chain, including Transportation, Warehousing and Distribution.
