Job Summary
This position is responsible for full-service property and facility management of several University owned facilities, both office and lab spaces, that have both internal and external tenants. The position is required to directly perform duties related to property marketing and development and is the first line of response for tenant related issues to assure excellent customer service. The position is also responsible for coordinating timely and fiscally responsible facility maintenance, renewal and replacement planning, and minor facility renovations.

Job Knowledge & Skills, Education, Experience
A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree, facility operations, project management experience.
Knowledge of real estate leasing and principles management strongly preferred.
Three to five years’ experience in a role similar to the job requirements, preference for two years in a not-for-profit environment.
Ability to analyze and interpret operating budgets, leases and related documents.
Ability to conduct walk-throughs, inspections, and complete site and building management activities.
Good computer skills including use of Microsoft office.
Experience with university procurement and applicable computer systems preferred.
Demonstrate effective management skills and an ability to communicate verbally and in writing with a variety of stakeholders ranging from tenants to University administration.
Demonstrated basic financial acumen and good negotiation skills.
Ability to multitask and handle several issues concurrently.
Working Conditions
General office environment. Regular travel not expected but may occur occasionally around previously scheduled events. Requires work in a stationary position for extended periods of time and operation of computer and other office equipment.
Salary Range $80,000-$95,000, commensurate with experience.
