As a Senior Strategic Initiatives Consultant at CDW, you will play a pivotal role in driving organizational change and enhancing coworker satisfaction. Leading cross-functional project teams and working with internal and external stakeholders, you will implement best practice-based change management strategies for our strategic business initiatives and support CDW's coworker engagement initiatives, ensuring the achievement of organizational goals and the realization of added business value. The ideal candidate will bring a proven track record in coworker engagement and change management, demonstrating a strong analytical mindset, successful program management, proactive ownership, effective communication skills and ability to break down complex problems.

Key Areas of Responsibility



  • Manage projects that may be large, complex, medium-to-high risk, or highly visible.
  • Develop, manage, and execute project plans to ensure effective resource allocation, commitment from project team members, and attainment of business requirements.
  • Lead reporting, measurement and analytics for assigned programs and initiatives by conducting, compiling and summarizing stakeholder feedback and other talent data. Make recommendations and incorporate changes to enhance offerings based on feedback.
  • Coordinate, execute and maintain strategic programs to manage change across multiple business initiatives.
  • Apply a comprehensive change management strategy that enables a smooth transition including impact analysis, readiness assessment, sponsor roadmaps and adoption plans.
  • Act as a change advocate, supporting the creation, design and deployment of communication and training plans for smooth implementation of target strategic initiatives.
  • Collaborate with and indirectly lead internal and external change managers, cultivating relationships with project team members, partners, and leaders to implement change plans, resolve issues and handle resistance.
  • Monitor progress of change plans, collect feedback, measure results and adjust plans as needed.
  • Develop and implement initiatives to enhance coworker engagement, job satisfaction, and overall workplace morale.
  • Manage engagement surveys and associated culture/change management activities, supporting and maintaining initiatives that reinforce the company's goals and culture.
  • Own the execution of engagement surveys and pulse cycles, including analysis, reporting, presentation, and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with HRBPs and department heads to address coworker concerns, create action plans, and analyze engagement data.

Education and/or Experience Qualifications



  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, human resources, organizational development or equivalent work experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in human resources, with a focus on coworker engagement and change management.
  • Experience in driving collaboration across cross-functional teams.

  • Experience in change management principles and methodology, including impact assessment, readiness analysis, and definition and measurement of success measures.
  • Highly collaborative with ability to influence leadership and foster coworker support and engagement.
  • Strong program and project management skills.
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills with demonstrated ability to clearly articulate messages to a variety of audiences and navigate and work effectively across all levels of a diverse organization.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities in a fast paced, performance driven environment.
  • Adaptability to changing business needs, remaining calm under pressure and resilient in the face of challenges.
  • In-depth understanding of HR principles, practices, and current trends.
  • Ability to motivate and influence others with or without direct authority and proactively resolve issues.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, balancing innovation and practicality.
  • Excellent stakeholder management ability, building relationships and collaborating across all levels of the organization.
  • Strong attention to detail with creative problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with coworker engagement administration and proficiency in data analytics.
