Job DescriptionTokenization is fundamental to Visa's vision to secure digital commerce and enable a variety of new use cases. The VP of Credentials will be on the forefront of Visa's innovation and will oversee a team responsible for design, development and test engineering of Visa's suite of tokenization services which include Visa Token Service and the Token ID suite of services. Essential Functions * Partner with product and market teams to scale token adoption by optimizing performance of tokenized transaction and enabling seamless digital experiences. * Execute technology strategies and key priorities to meet business objectives and strategies with key stakeholders across technology, global product and market facing teams. * Lead cross-functional global team of senior engineers, solution architects, technical project managers and operations teams to define technology project architecture, technology strategy, and play a leadership role providing guidance to stakeholders. * Works directly and closely with Platform Products and cross functional stakeholder team to develop multi-year strategic outlook plans, instrumental in defining solutions for large/complex opportunities/challenges. * Directly responsible for product development of credential platforms, spanning Visa Token Service and Token ID * Provide leadership and oversight to a globally distributed team (200+) of technology leaders and developers implementing highly scalable, low-latency, high-throughput software systems that have five 9s plus availability. * Own the planning, design, and delivery of all product development roadmap items for the vertical. * Establish a culture of engineering excellence with focus on delivering high quality products to production. * Ensure security and operational posture of the platform meets the highest standards. * Attract, hire, retain and grow top engineering leaders and talent, provide mentoring, coaching and guidance to your staff. * Drive developer productivity through adoption of innovative technologies/tools and engineering fundamentals & best practices. * Establishing a culture that values ownership, accountability and creates an environment that enables innovation and continuous improvement. This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs. U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 194,700.00 to 267,800.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
