The Mason style of economics fuses traditional micro- and macroeconomics with scholarship in the fields of Public Choice (founded by Nobel Laureate and Mason Professor Emeritus James Buchanan), Austrian Economics, and Experimental Economics (the latter founded by Nobel Laureate and Mason Professor Emeritus Vernon Smith). Overall, Mason's economics program focuses on society and analyzes policy issues from both theoretical and applied perspectives. About the Position: The Instructor will be responsible for teaching courses in the Department's fully online Master of Arts in Economics program. Courses for the online program are scheduled asynchronously.
