HX5 is currently seeking a Senior RF Engineer to join our team at Eglin AFB, FL.

The selected candidate will be assigned as an employee for HX5 or one of our teammate companies.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:



  • Supporting the acquisition and development of an exciting, high priority weapon system program.
  • Provide Radio Frequency (RF) engineering experience with knowledge in design, development, analysis, modeling and simulation, data links and testing of electro-technology (any electrical and electronic) systems to achieve Electro-Magnetic (EM) compatibility requirements for armament or aircraft systems.
  • Prepare program office management reports and conduct technical presentations with government and industry.
  • Analyze and/or evaluate results of major engineering weapon systems performance.
  • Provide technical support on engineering performance, effectiveness, producibility, reliability, maintainability, and schedule.


Education and Experience:



  • Undergraduate engineering degree from an ABET-accredited college.
  • Master's degree and fifteen (15) years of professional experience; OR Ph.D. degree and five (5) years of professional experience


Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:



  • This is a full-time position requiring 40 hours per week and offers a flexible work schedule Monday through Friday during core business hours.


Other Position Requirements:



  • Proof of U.S. Citizenship is a requirement for this position.
  • Must be able to complete a U.S. government background investigation.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance by date of hire; with an investigation date within the past six (6) years.
  • Must be able to travel as necessary.
