This position is an in-person, on campus faculty position. Under minimal supervision, the instructor is responsible for the delivery of mathematics course instruction in a variety of modalities and locations, facilitation of student learning and success, assessment of student performance, advising students on academic issues, and the on-going development of curriculum and learning strategies which meet the needs of students and employers. Duties include assisting in selecting textbooks, developing/updating curricula, completing reports (including accreditation reports), tracking/reporting assessment data, contributing to program review/strategic planning, maintaining records and files, participating in professional development activities, maintaining skills in teaching methods, course development, attending departmental and institutional meetings, serving actively on institutional committees, promoting the education program, participating in efforts to recruit and retain students, and establishing and maintaining effective professional relationships with staff, students, faculty and other stakeholders. Additionally, collaborate with other faculty and staff members to provide quality instruction for a diverse student population; perform instructional duties and responsibilities in accordance with the philosophy, mission, policies, and procedures of the College. |

Special Instructions to Applicants |
This position will include teaching, tutoring and other responsibilities that foster student success and advance initiatives within the Mathematics department for the College. Applicants selected for an interview will be expected to provide a 10-minute teaching demonstration for the search committee. Priority will be given to applicants who apply by April 25, 2024. This position will remain open until filled. |
