IT Field Technician

We have an immediate opening out of our Englewood, CO office for an IT Field Technician supporting our local and remote sites in the greater Denver, CO area!

Total Compensation: Up to $75,000 per year.

This position will be responsible for supporting users and resolving a wide variety of I.T. related issues. This position requires you to be the face of I.T. installing, configuring, or maintaining core Waste Connections software applications and systems. Deploying new software releases and patches, PC hardware, Network - routers and switches, Audio / Video and working as a telecom project manager. This fast-paced position requires strong time management skills and a nimble mindset. A hospitable personality is a must with a desire to learn.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science OR related field experience
    • 2 years or more of Network Administration OR willing to learn.
    • Experience working with Microsoft O365 and Office Applications
    • Independent worker with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
    • Strong communications skills a must
    • Strong customer service and time management skills

    Minimum Requirements:

    • Coverage of field locations, multiple sites across the state. will require up to 50% travel of your work schedule including overnight stays. Must have reliablle transportation.
    • Demonstrated proficiency in at least four of the following areas:
    • Windows 10
    • WYSE Winterms
    • Citrix Server
    • Telecom and Voip phones
    • AV - conference rooms and TVs
    • Printers / PC laptop / desktop support
    • Cisco / Meraki routers / General Networking

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Provide tier 1 and 2 level support for workstations, including handling after hour calls as assigned.
    • Installation, configuration and troubleshooting of TCP/IP networking
    • Configuration and troubleshooting of Microsoft Office Suite, PC and Laptop hardware configuration and troubleshooting
    • Maintain phone systems at multiple locations
    • Microsoft windows end user configuration (profiles, printers, application configuration)
    • Cisco router installation and configuration
    • iPad, iPhone / Android device configuration, troubleshooting, and repair
