Subcontracts/Procurement Specialist HX5 is an award-winning provider of engineering, research and development, and technical services to clients such as NASA and the Department of Defense. Founded in 2004, HX5 is a fast-growing veteran- and woman-owned company with locations nationwide. Summary This position is responsible for the administration of subcontracts and procurement. Performs a variety of complex tasks and advises internal departments regarding contractual requirements. Position prepares a variety of subcontract / procurement documentation, tracking, and performs subcontract closeouts. Subcontract Responsibilities

Education and/or Experience Language Skills Ability to read, analyze, and interpret government contracts, federal clauses, and legal documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors. Computer Skills To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Contract Management systems; Database software;; Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint. Experience with Deltek software a plus. Position Type/Expected Hours of Work This is a full-time position. Standard days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Travel This position may be required to travel up to 5% of the time.
