THE JOB It is the primary responsibility of the Poker Attendant to make fills on poker tables and assist players in the purchasing of chips. STARTING PAY RATE: $11.25 plus tokes & tips THE DAY-TO-DAY Understand the procedures and rules of all poker games and tournaments offered Provide game and tournament information Make exchanges correctly when exchanging money or chips Provide accuracy and efficiency to guests at all times Maintain the game list and seat players in games requested Adhere to appropriate gaming regulations, policies and procedures THE REQUIRED High School Diploma, GED or equivalent Age 21+ Gaming Card WHAT WILL MAKE YOU STANDOUT 6+ Months of Prior Relevant Experience Cash handling experience Experience in a similar resort setting THE IDEAL CANDIDATE General knowledge of mathematical skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division Working knowledge of Poker games Able to effectively communicate in English, in both written and verbal forms Ability to work under pressure Ability to multi-task and work well in a fast paced, team-oriented environment Excellent organizational skills to function effectively under time constraints and within established deadlines, with particular attention to detail Excellent customer service skills and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with all busines
