Technical Project Management Specialist

The Opportunity:

As a project management specialist, you know the complexities of supporting a project from concept to completion. Many programs require a significant investment of limited resources, and it's imperative to keep the project on a productive path. That's why we need you, a project management specialist who can help ensure success through careful analysis and effective communication.

On our team, you'll implement and maintain organizational programs in support of Hypersonic Testing and Development. You'll work with key stakeholders to review contracts and project cost accounting. You'll help with tactical planning using resources like Microsoft Project and regular interactions with SMEs, Mission Partners, Chief Engineers, Subcontractors, Vendors, Program Management, and more.

You Have:

  • 2+ years of experience in a project management role
  • Experience with project planning resources to build and manage project delivery
  • Ability to function independently as a self-starter
  • Ability to manage project scope, schedule, and budget for all elements of a project
  • Ability to identify, manage, and communicate project risks to project stakeholders
  • Ability to collaborate and communicate with program leadership and stakeholders to drive delivery of scheduled milestones
  • Ability to manage work efficiently
  • Ability to obtain a security clearance
  • Bachelor's degree

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience working with suppliers and managing product delivery to a set of requirements
  • Experience using Agile framework, and the sprint or scrum approach to project management
  • Experience using Microsoft Project to build and manage project delivery
  • Knowledge of 3D CAD design software such as SolidWorks
  • Possession of excellent problem resolution skills
  • Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering preferred; Master's degree in Engineeringa plus

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $54,000.00 to $123,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
