Minimum Qualifications |
Requires technical knowledge in the field acquired through an apprenticeship, a 2-year degree, or professional certificate. Please contact your Human Resources office for an evaluation of education/experience in lieu of the required minimum qualifications. |
Preferred Qualifications |
Bachelor of Science in wildlife biology, ecology, or a closely related field with two years of experience in field work that includes: 1) capture and handling of turtles, 2) project and/or field team coordination, and 3) data management. Master of Science degree in wildlife biology, ecology, or a closely related field is preferred. |
Position Summary |
This position is a highly responsible technical research support position at
SREL. Incumbent is responsible for developing research plans, managing research budgets and personnel, preparing research permit applications as necessary for state, federal and
DOE approvals, conducting research, preparing reports to funding agencies, and preparing manuscripts for publication. |
