UI/UX Designer

The Opportunity:

As a UX/UI Designer, you'll put yourself in the user's place and design the best way for them to engage with the application. We're looking for someone creative like you to craft the ultimate user experience. You'll work closely with the product manager on your team to understand your clients' vision and their users' needs. Working on an agile team, you'll build skills in designing large-scale digital experiences that are as intuitive as they are aesthetically pleasing. Your experience with interface design will help you advocate for the prioritizations of design-centered changes, refinements, and improvements - with the user at the center of your work.

You Have:

  • 6+ years of experience working on cross-functional, agile teams in a professional work environment
  • Experience with the full spectrum of the digital creative process, including user research, information architecture, visual layout, interaction design, and usability testing
  • Knowledge of gaming or game engine platforms, including Unity
  • Ability to share samples of past performance
  • Ability to obtain a security clearance
  • Bachelor's degree

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience with UX/UI and interaction design training or certification programs
  • Experience with designing or coding responsive digital platforms
  • Experience with proposal writing, marketing content, and client engagement
  • Experience with front-end development, 3D art, or data visualization
  • Experience in building capabilities of new and emerging expertise from the ground up
  • Knowledge of DoD enterprise data mission space and systems
  • Ability to work independently, collaborate with peers, and present to stakeholders
  • Ability to solve problems of limited scope and complexity
  • Secret clearance

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $75,600.00 to $172,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
