Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant - Trauma & Acute Care Surgery - Req # 79178 - St. Luke's Hospital - New Bedford, MA Full time temporary position to help cover several LOAs to start 8/2024 - 2/2025 Under the general supervision and direction of the Chief of Trauma and Acute Care Surgery or designee, conduct a wide variety of patient care and related duties in support of SHG Surgeons. Position will function as first call for all emergency department consults with physician back-up primarily for Surgical Specialties. Conduct rounds as needed for Trauma and Acute Care Surgery patients. Assist in OR for trauma cases as necessary. Overnight APP coverage for SLH. Knowledge and skill of orthopedic disorders and treatments is required. Skill in operating medical equipment, a variety of software applications and multiple projects is required AND/OR Nurse Practitioner is required. We are a fast-paced, established, patient centered practice that provides quality care to our patients. Hours: 40 hours (Full-time) varies; 7a - 7p; 7p - 7a; 11a - 11p; 7a - 7a
