About the role

The responsibilities of the Apprentice involves general housekeeping tasks including but not limited to the following: sweeping frit pans, debris pick up along the exterior fence line, sweeping the roadway from the front gate to the transfer station, sweeping curbs around the exterior of the facility, cleaning the area round the Scale House, cleaning beneath conveyors, clearing facility drains and trenches and performing tasks delegated by the Shift Supervisor from the Remedial Work List or the PM list.

The Apprentice will perform similar and related duties, as well as other duties, as directed by Supervisory personnel.

Qualifications

No prior experience is required. A high school diploma or equivalent and the ability to read and understand instructions, operational, training, safety, and health related materials and work rules is required. To perform position the Apprentice must be able to react to unusual or emergency conditions and be in good physical condition in terms of mobility, hearing and vision.
