Must meet all requirements of Electrician Trainee, Electrician I, and Electrician II, plus the following:

  1. Develops and or modifies PLC logic, Basic programming, Block programming, Flow chart, and ASCII programs, to accommodate production staff.
  2. Suggest or demonstrate alternative components, or methods in repetitive repair situations.
  3. Demonstrate a familiarity with PLC systems, such that would enable individual to identify faulty components and take corrective actions.
  4. Ability to size wire and conduit, develop material lists for a particular task, and communicate with trade nomenclature to electrical supervisor.
  5. Work closely with electrical supervisor, and management to improve quality and profitability.
  6. Interested in learning new things and applying those things to the betterment of employer.
  7. Demonstrates computer literacy and the ability to do moderate word processing, data base entry, and spread sheet generation, plus an ability to quickly learn software upgrades to PLC interfaces.
  8. Read, learn, and explain to others, electrical drawings, schematics, and technical instruction concerning the operation and maintenance of mill systems.
  9. Sets a good example for other employees and electricians, and takes leadership roll in job performance.
  10. Demonstrates a high degree of skill with electrical tools and equipment, and a desire to improve the skills and performance of fellow electricians.
  11. Maintain and troubleshoot microprocessor systems such as moisture meters, optical scanners, servo controls, rotary clipper, blow detector, or others that may be installed or upgraded.
  12. Keeps aware of company policies and safety rules, follows them, and helps others to do the same.
